Faith Lutheran School offers a summer camp for all students from three years old to fifth grade over the summer break.

#1 Camp Faith May 30th-July 28th

Summer Camp registration now open!

Faith Lutheran School is pleased to announce a full-day summer camps.  Parents needing child care during the summer should consider Faith's Summer Camp program. The camp runs from the Monday after the school year ends until one week before school begins in the fall. Campers experience bowling every week, plus they take numerous field trips during the camp. Camp is designed to create a safe, fun, familiar and exciting environment for participants

We are excited to prepare our 2017 program for our campers who have completed 3- year-old preschool through 5th grade. Children MUST be fully potty trained.

Camp is open from 7:00 A.M. to 6 P.M.

#2 Fundamental Basketball Camp—June 12th-16th

The Faith Lutheran Fundamentals Basketball Camp provides boys and girls the opportunity to learn and improve their skills in the game of basketball. While learning the skills, campers, will also have a chance to compete in team games and individual contests. Campers leave the camp with a new-found passion for the game and receive a t-shirt and basketball.

Two session offered:

9 A.M. to Noon for 1st through 4th Grade
1 P.M. to 4 P.M. for 5th through 8th Grade

#3 Robotics Introductory—June 19th-23rd

Students will begin by using Ozobot robots and will learn to code and communicate instructions to the robot using simple color codes.  Simple enough for younger students, but even older kids will have a great time as they see these little bots respond to their commands! Later campers will move into more advanced coding using the Blockly programming language.  The week will wrap up with an introduction to the Lego Mindstorms system, and a glimpse into the possibilities of more complex building and programming projects.

#4 Robotics Advanced—June 26th-30th

This camp is designed for students who already have some experience with robotics, and want to learn some of the more advanced concepts of design and programming. Using the Lego Mindstorms system, campers will learn to design robots capable of performing many different tasks.  They will learn to use motors, as well as touch, ultrasonic, and color sensors.  This camp is a great introduction for students who might be interested in being on a robotics team during the school year.

#5 Art Camp—July 10th-14th

Campers get the opportunity to paint, use paper mache, work with clay, paint a t-shirt, make 3D drawings and learn to shade using colored pencils.

Two session offered

9 A.M. to 11 A.M. for PK4 trough 1st Grade
1 P.M. to 3 P.M. for 2nd through 5th Grade

#6 Handbell Camp—July 17th-21st

Campers in grades 2nd through 5th learn how to play the English handbells while learning beginning music note reading.

#7 Creative Arts with the Counselor—July 24th-28th

Campers explore concepts of self-esteem, stress, and anxiety through fun creative art experience. Campers also learn how to cope with difficult emotions and develop coping skills and tools.

This camp is for students in 4th through 6th grade.
